Looking at getting a new router and hope you can narrow it down for me.
looking at wired only for now (as i dont own and dont plan to own a wireless device for a while)
Im replacing my 5 year old USR router thats on its last legs bless it.
i do a lot of p2p traffic so having a router that can handle all the connections is very important
does anyone have any suggestions?
on ntl 4meg.
not fussed about wireless
not fussed about 1000 speed network ports.
I doubt that buying a wired only router will save you much over a wireless router (most of which come with 4 wired ports anyway), so personally I would go for wireless anyway. Just in case you do end up getting a wireless device...

im easy - its just the connections bit thats important seen to many routers fall over and die
i spend my life securing wirless networks it seems so i can tick the boxes
Linksys and netgear i have had mixed results with but same probably goes for most things.
i was looking at dlink DGL-4100
