Disable StartUp Items

I want to improve my boost load-up time, so i want to disable some things from loading up at start up

I managed to disable Jusched (Java auto updater)

Now how do i disable these:

- DKIcon (Something to do with Diskeeper)
- ctfmon (Solved: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=282599 )
- Adobe Reader Speed Launch
- OSA.exe (Something to do with Microsoft Office 10)
- cli (Something to do with ATI technologies)

Is there anyway to disable these without going through System Config Utility or having to install extra programs?

Thanks in advanced for help

Re: Disable StartUp Items

mines disabled by using msconfig
Ctfmon is something to do with microsoft office and sometimes can be a trojan but not likely it is a none essential system process but wont use many resources
You could look in the services list but if your not sure what your doing leave it alone.

I went here http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=282599 which explains how to remove it for Office XP/2003 but i have Office 2007 installed which those steps don't seem to apply.
