My parents have a Freedom BB connection which they connect to their computer using a Speedtouch 330 USB ADSL modem. However, although their laptop has wifi built in, they aren't using it, as the Speedtouch only has a USB connection option. What I'd like to know is,:
a) Is there an wireless ADSL router that can be connected to the Speed touch to enable wireless connection to the ADSL?
b) Failing that, is it possible to use a different ADSL modem that can connect to a wireless router (I assume using an ethernet cable), or even a combined router/modem that could completely replace the Speedtouch?
c) Finally, the current Speedtouch system dials in each time, would this still work if there was a unit that could replace the Speedtouch? I've got ntl cable at home myself, so I'm familiar with how that works (i.e. always on), but I've never dealt with the ntl Freedom system before

.
Thanks,
Dave.
