Cool 10Mb, Moto SB5101E, Expect Problems?

Good morn to ye ,

I am a new subscriber to the elite force of broadband and have a simple yet important question for you dude and dudettes. I have a Motorola sufboard modem sb5101E, I naturally come from the north, west yorkshire to be exact, and I was just wondering whether I am likely to experience any problems with speeds in area 14 .

My 1Mb complete was just fine reporting at 966kb/s and 130kb/s consistantly at both peak and off peak, (taking into account 8% signal loss).

so in light of this I have no worries.....or do I?

Thanks for your time.

Your modem can handle the new speeds fine

You should be fine.

I was given this modem last week after I had two that were of no use and I'm finally getting speeds approaching the 10 meg connection.

If you had an SB3100 or Webstar EPC2100 (version 1) you need to get them changed immediately.
