Sorry if this has been asked before but i am sure i read somewhere that incorparated into the 2mb package is a monthly fee for the modem. Is this true, if so does anybody know how much it is.Is it straight forward to go and buy another modem so not to pay the monthly fee.How much to modems cost.
Sorry more than one stupid question.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Stupid question about NTL modems.
Yes, there is a monthly rental fee included in all NTL broadband packages. However, NTL do not allow you to use your own modem on the network, so it does not actually work out any cheaper to buy your own modem.
ntl BB packages are fairly cheap compared to adsl as you have to have a phone line so if you look at it this way at least £5.50 (£5.50 for BB connection and £5.50 for telephone)on top.
eg BT 2meg is £20 +£5.50= £25.50
ntl 2meg is £24.99
