Re: 6630 Unlocking

Unless you get it done directly from the network provider, it's not going to happen. The software for the OS hasn't been released yet and I'm reliably informed this won't change for a good 6 months or so.

Re: 6630 Unlocking

I live in the grimsby area

dont know if Orange would unlock it for me as i got it off a mate, he had a contract with them, but had to declare themselves bankrupt so the contact was cancelled, and i bought the phone off him.

I aint got a clue what orange would say on this.

As for the software i dont eva think is gonna be relased this phone has been out quite a while now and still nothing.

Re: 6630 Unlocking

Orange will do it for you if it's on PAYG, you'll just need to top up with a LOT, possibly between £50 and £100 and they'll take it from there.

Is the SIM in your name? If so give them a call on 450.

Re: 6630 Unlocking

There is currently no way of unlocking the 6630, sorry.
All the new symbian phones are not un-lockable at the moment.

Re: 6630 Unlocking

the 6630 is being offered on ebay as unlocked and open to all networks... some of the sellers have good feedback too. but sadly that means nothing these days. unlocked 6630
