Wireless ADSL router recommendations

My sister-in-law needs a wireless network setting up now I've just arranged for ADSL for her, she's only got one machine and wondered if anyone knew of any cheap (54g minimum) wireless ADSL routers and wireless NIC or USB dongle things, preferably not Belkin as I have no end of bother with mine.

BT Voyager 2100 Wireless ADSL Router? This router can also have a wired network. So if the wireless doesnt work out you can change it over.

Re: Wireless ADSL router recommendations

if you have a spare cable router lying around you can do what i do and have an ethernet adsl modem and a cable router behind it. I'm using a Speedtouch (spit) modem bought for about £20 from insight and an airport for the wireless.

Be careful of dual NATing if you do it this way though.

Re: Wireless ADSL router recommendations

I went for a Netgear in the end, bundled with a Netgear NIC. I wouldn't normally touch Netgear as the original router I had from them used to disable all internet access for a few minutes whenever you used a game browser (in game or something like Gamespy/All Seeing Eye) according to the their helpdesk they either tripped some kind of flood control or maxed out the incoming/outgoing connections on the firewall, but, as she doesn't do any gaming it should I ok.
