telwest and home network problem HELP

HI IF THERE ARE ANY GOOD PEOPLE WITH SOME ADVICE ON TELEWEST AND HOME NETWORKING I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME HELP.
firstly i have a pc and a laptop wired and wirelessly connected to a linksys wrk54g router then using a surfboard 5100 to connect onlinehave tried loads of things but it remainthe same everyday it loses internet capabilities xp says limited connection ,yet if i pull the mains adapter on the linksys out of the
socket and put it back in it works fine.ip obtained auto in xp and local dhcp is enabled on linksys, mac clone enabled
ip = 192.168.1.###

i see dhcp on xp is the same as default gateway

LINKSYS TOLD ME TO TRY ANOTHER ELECTRIC SOCKET !

Have you upgraded the firmware of the router.
