im confused, if you have your internet wirelessly why are you trying to connect the router to the pc with a cable?

do you have an ethernet adaptor for your ps2?

Re: Problem with my router and my wireless connection !

I'm confused too, as to your setup. You will need to tell us exactly what kit you have, especially how you get your existing PC connection via wireless to the internet.

What I think you should have is:
modem / STB wired connection to Router
Router connection to PC wired or wireless
router connection to PS2 wired or wireless

Your router can be a wired version, or it can include wireless.
If the former you will connect a wireless access point to one of the LAN ports on the router to give you wireless service to your desktop.

Re: Problem with my router and my wireless connection !

you need an ethernet adaptor for the PS2. From that you can either connect it to the router with and ehternet cable or if the router is wireless only the you need to get a wireless game adaptor

Re: Problem with my router and my wireless connection !

what i have is a broadband connection, connected to a wireless router, which is downstairs. The router then sends the signal to the pc in my room upstairs and is recieved by my wireless usb stick. Then what i want to do is connect my ps2 to my computer to share the internet connection. I do have a router ( non wireless) which i can use. What is the best way to connect m,y ps2 to the internet ?
