Linksys BEFSR41 dead?

I've been using this since I first got bb in 2001, never a single problem with it.

4 days ago, I wake up, turn on my PC and try to access the internet > cant.

Take a loot at my modem/router lights, and see that the router's DIAG(red) light is solid, I cant access the router via it's control panel(192.168.1.1), but I can still access other PC's on the router.

I have a fiddle with the wires, power off both modem & router, and eventually they start working- but it's happened a few times since, and yesterday couldnt fix it.

I've heard a solid red light on this router means it's dead and cant be fixed, true?

Even if it could be fixed it probably isn't economic to do so A new BEFSR41 is 'only' £32 at Novatech!
