That certainly is strange. It could be spyware. Go to www.download.com and get spybot search and destroy (if you don't already have a spyware scanner)

Just read the service status page and it appears its a fault with the dns servers again. It was okay untill the outage yesterday evening.

Re: Weired browsing????

See this thread, theres a description on how to use an alternative DNS server (demon).

It works great, loads faster than Ntls

Re: Weired browsing????

It's just the odd characters before the URLs almost looked like a broswer hijacker.

Re: Weired browsing????

I've had two nights of not being able to get on the net after 8.p.m. page not found etc. is this a new way of limiting time we are allowed on the net, seems strange that it occurs round about the same time each night.

I'm having to go to bed early shaking with withdrawal symtoms.

When you can't reach one site it may be down, but if you can't reach most or all sites than either your firewall is blocking you or your ISP is down.

I have a funny feeling it may be the DNS servers again, 'cos when I changed my DNS server and rebooted, it was fine
