Re: MDMA to treat PTSD

There are lots of "Substances" that can be used for medical purposes, but the world and specifically our "you cannot be trusted to walk" governments, refuse to look at the benefits from quite a few.

An old friend of mine is epileptic, he was having anything up to 10 bouts of seizures a week, then he started smoking weed, it went down to an average of 3 to 4 bouts a month, but still he was treated like a criminal if caught with it.

Weed is one of those things that could see a massive change to funding to the government in this country, but it will likely never come because there are too many people who refuse to believe that it could be a good thing, whilst they gulp down their cups of starbucks or bottles of wine each day.

Ecstasy which is MDMA just not as pure has been known about for decades to be a treatment for all sorts of psychological issues, but once again there are those who just see the downsides when used wrong, and because of that this countries governments have always strayed away from using it.

MDMA when used correctly at the right dosage can make people come alive, it can take someone who refuses to go outside, refuses to interact with people actually start to interact with people, but again we have a backwards stance to it all.

Now I am sure there will be people who say "Drugs cause A, B, C" etc but tell me this, what is the difference between someone wanting to stay at home, smoke a joint, watch a film compared to someone sitting at home, drinking a bottle or two of wine?

What I have said above though does not mean I am for legalising all sorts of drugs, there are plenty that should be illegal, and ecstasy is one that should not be legalised for anything but medical use.

Weed on the other hand, that should be legalised, restricted on strength, cross breeding of plants prohibited etc.

I have no idea if he is legal or not now, I have not spoken to him in over 10 years.

The problem I have seen with people though is, despite meeting the criteria to get it legally, the Doctors refuse to prescribe it.

Re: MDMA to treat PTSD

You do not need to see a doc you just need to be diagnosed in a certain criteria and you go direct to the "pharmacy" there are a lot of hoops to jump through but once you have your card you are golden
