Re: RIP Patrick Murray

Proper lad was Mickey, one of the many that made the series as funny as it was.

Wouldn't it be brilliant if the BBC repeated the 20 episodes he appeared in, not only as a tribute, but to put something actually decent (and well liked) on the TV.

Or do they contain certain 'elements' of humour frowned upon in this day and age.

Re: RIP Patrick Murray

Personally I did not like the show, but RIP Patrick.

Re: RIP Patrick Murray

To me, it's quite surprising that so many of the supporting cast of the Trotter's friends have now died. Maybe it shouldn't be given the age of the show, but 68 isn't that old. Roger Lloyd Pack (Trigger) was 69.

RIP.

Only Fools is still held in high regard by the BBC. It's not as if they've tried to distance themselves from it. There are a few dated terms, but the majority of the show still works with a modern audience.

I don't think they repeat it because there are limited spaces to do so on their main channels. It goes to 'Dave' or whatever.
