Virgin sending new terms emails for some

I just received an email from virgin informing me they are changing my contract terms from April and I have until the end of October to leave without penalty. i haven't changed my package since late 2022.

It's great timing because I was going to pay the 288 early termination fee to leave anyway.

It's to align all customers that haven't joined or had a price increase this year to the current terms that include the RPI price increases from next year.

Or is it to cover their backs for Ofcoms investigation? Too little, too late. The Grim Reaper is coming for VM...

So not content with ripping off new customers, they want to rip off all the current ones as well.

Take up their kind offer to leave then Den, assuming you can get the services from elsewhere. If nothing else it will force VM to give you a deal. However under these under these terms you still haven't a clue what you'll be agreeing to pay in future whatever price they offer.

Re: Virgin sending new terms emails for some

I should imagine everyone will be getting one before end of September. Will be watching to see if there is a mass exodus by October 31st.

You going Mr K? Don't forget there are still may be deals to be made. I'll ring in to find out if not City Fibre for a 2 year deal sounds good.

Re: Virgin sending new terms emails for some

I'm confused what this is all about. Is it another update to the T&Cs? I thought all existing customers had received this earlier in the year?

I have it and will be seeking to do the same next month. I do have City Fibre available with a 2 year contract. A good offer could be pending!

I got put into another contract recently after accepting a deal to be upgraded back to Maxit TV with TNT Sports in return for paying £3 a month less. They said that there wouldn't be a price increase for the full 18 months.

I'm now beginning to wonder if this was one of their lies or if they will renage on this promise, but give me the option to cancel.
