Sporadic TiVO Faults

Rght before I take time off work, it is worth calling a tech out can they really do anything......

BBC iPlayer, stutters quite badly at time, simply wouldnt do the apprentice in HD at all the other week.

Today, Disney channel, was dropping out with heavy pixellation then coming back. Did for about an hour then normal service was resumed.

Our BB is pants but usually TiVO kinda works OK. Box is only 30%(ish) full and is nice and cool with a USB external fan

Any thoughts ?

Power levels possibly. I know the few times I use the iplayer it can play up. You could try the vm forum and they should do some tests.

Cheers, Power Levels might be it actually. Last week a VM tech put a power amplifier on the BB connection. Another mains socket needed behing the TV for the little white dangly thing.... I dont recall hime checking Ti|Vo then again it wasnt playing up last week.

Re: Sporadic TiVO Faults

If the tech fitted a HDU he must have thought there was insufficient signal. Give VM a call to get it checked - but make sure you have it tuned to Disney Channel when you call.
