I'm having VM installed in my new house tomorrow. The previous owners had VM, and I have the usual old white coaxial cables coming in at the front of the house. However, I've decided to take the 'Vivd' optical fibre package. Can anyone advise on what I should expect to see happen during the install? I'm guessing they'll have to remove the old cables and use new ones?
They'll most likely use the existing coaxial cables and put sockets on the wall where you want your services installed if they aren't already there. No fibre optic cable comes to your house it is all coaxial from the street cabinet to your house
