Creating Icons from Pictures
Is there any software out there that will allow me to make icons from picture files.

I found a website which is
http://iconverticons.com/online/

But i would rather convert on my PC rather than online.

FastStone ImageViewer also does it and is a good all round image viewer, format converter, resizer etc

One of the handful of programs I wanted to keep using after ditching Windows so glad it works on Linux under WINE too
