US Timeline : The Saint is coming back.

Hunted's Adam Rayner is to play Simon Templar in a new TV version of The Saint.

The series also stars Eliza Dushku (who plays an assistant, if the trailer is correct), and the Pilot features both Ian Ogilvy and Roger Moore.

Looks good based on the trailer and the cast.. I think Adam Rayner is a good actor (although I didn't like Hunted), and I've enjoyed everything I've seen Eliza Dushku in.

Unfortunately, I don't know if it'll make it beyond a pilot, as the company that made the trailer is currently preparing to try to sell it to the Networks. Unfortunately, while some US networks seem to like this kind of mindless action series (ABC and the CW spring to mind), it sometimes seems the Networks make odd decisions.

Just as long as it doesn't end up on Sky Atlantic. Though given where they have put Nikita, if Sky do get it, it will more likely be Living.

And we need the bit at the beginning where the saint looks up and the halo appears Just wouldn't be the same without it

IMDB has it listed as a TV movie the clip was April 1 and the end of the clip with both Moore and Ogilvy kinda smells fishy but would they really go to them lengths lol its ok it was announced last year lol

It could be that Digital Spy is wrong, or they could be making a backdoor pilot.
