End of mobile contract

My wife's contract expires next month and can't decide which phone to get her next.

Max I want to spend is around £20.00 per month.

Can't decide on either Samsung s2, s3 or htc one x.

All are available on other networks for around that price.

Has anyone got any of the above?

What prices did you pay, and did you go through the retentions team?

Spoke to retentions, and was advised that they cannot offer any deals on HTC one x or s3. But willing to deal on s2 for 20.00 per month. With 200 mins, 500 texts and 500 mb.

I have an s2 with 200 mins 3000 texts and 1gb of net for £17 a month - I'd call them back and ask if they can do better (and I don't have any other VM services any more).

Re: End of mobile contract

There's not a huge difference between the S2 and S3 especially if you prefer a smaller screen, the S3 isn't quite as a "done deal" as some might make you think. Especially considering the S2 is going to be a lot cheaper wherever you go - S3 you can get at £20 a month but S2 you can get on contracts less than £13 a month.

The One X, personally I find it absolutely rubbish; it's got a great screen and OS on it but battery life is pitiful, there's the dreaded wifi hardware fault, and mine's been in repair twice in two months. And I find the casing and non-removable battery pretty horrible.

Re: End of mobile contract

Went for s2 in the end with 250 minutes, and 1gb for 19.99.
