Installation at first fix stage in self build house
Hi
Wondered if anyone had come across how to get Virgin to install their internal cabling in a new build when the first fix wiring is being done -and before plasterboard goes on and final plastering is done - thus enabling all wiring to be hidden especially for wall mounted TVs. If they will only install when the house is ready to go with full Virgin service it means that the installers will have to run cables across skirtings and up walls - which seems pointless if they can do it when they can have full access to all service ducts, joists etc.
Any ideas much appreciated.

If you speak to the New build team I believe they can help with appropriate fixtures such as the wall points and cable, so that the contractors you are employing can install it.

get your sparkey to run cable compatible wire to each room. leave it hidden behind a blank face plate. All cable will need to terminate in one point, can be at the front of the property where the cable comes in from the outside. The important thing is to use the right type of cable.
