Connection grinding to a halt since a week ago?!

I know there have been widespread packetloss issues lately, so i've kinda held off, thinking that this problem (now that it's apparently fixed) would just sort itself out... but noooooooo!

My connection is slowly grinding to a halt and i'm getting loads of packetloss, here are two pathpings i've just done (one to Google, and one to OpenDNS). By the looks of it, I get "hilarious" amounts of packet loss at the very first hop, then a generous sprinkling at each hop thereafter:

Re: Connection grinding to a halt since a week ago?!

Still s***e as ever.

Can anyone confirm if those power levels are to blame for this?

If so, i'll get on the phone.

Cheers!

Re: Connection grinding to a halt since a week ago?!

how long has this been going on because there still seems to be issues.

regarding your power levels...

http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/34896851-post3.html

going by the above link your down levels are ok although if you wanted you could have an attenuator fitted to lower the levels a little. your up levels are minimum going by the link above which might need looking at ?

call VM 150, raise the packet loss issue (grab a ref number if possible)-no ref- post the packet loss on VMs community forum and just wait until you get a response. book a tech to sort your power levels via the 150 call
