High Latency since the 8th

On the night of the 7th rolling over until the 8th my modem went offline and i didnt think much about it i thought Virgin were doing some work, since its back on i have a majorly increased latency compared to what has been shown before on Thinkbroadband Quality Monitor.

Its affecting things such as Video Buffering a lot

Here is the Event Viewer..

Re: High Latency since the 8th

If you know your before/after VM Host Name, you could tell if you've been shifted to a different CMTS or line card.

Re: High Latency since the 8th

Your area was extremely lightly utilised previously, VM may have moved some modems onto the same upstream.

I say may as the pattern there doesn't match what would be expected from congestion, extremely unusual for utilisation to be higher overnight than during the peak evening periods.

Odd to see streaming getting disturbed at those load levels, I can stream reasonably despite the below:

Worth asking the community team about.

Re: High Latency since the 8th

well it seems to have corrected itself, Someone from Virgin contacted me yesterday saying that it was caused by my modem creating a high ammount of timeouts but im sure thats when the modem was offline due to network work being undertaken.

anyway my graph now looks like this once again...
