SD : VIP downgrade and second box

Hi, I downgraded from the VIP pack at the weekend - When the bill hit £98 a month I figured enough is enough.

Kept the XL and V+ box in the main room, and 30Mb BB as I am locked in. When I asked about returning the second box the lady told me to hang onto it as I might change my mind again in the future.

However, I had a quick look at it last night and I was still able to get BBC 1 & 2. Is this right, and just what channels will it pick up?

The same thing happened to me when i left VIP a few years ago.

I rang VM a couple of times to tell them i was still getting a few channels (freview type ones) and they said it was normal, so I gave up worrying about it.

Since then, I upgraded to multi-room anyway.
