Special Offer from VM
Just had a letter from VM with an offer for a free Blackberry 8520 and monthly tariff of £10.21. Just after I bought my new Samsung PAYG C3300K on PAYG I think I'll stick with it otherwise I'll lose all my credit. What's this Blackbery like anyway in case I change my mind?

Re: Special Offer from VM
Its good but not as good as the Bold/Torch, lacks a decent camera and HD screen. Depends what you need in a phone though, I know plenty of people with the Curve 8520 and they are happy with it.

Re: Special Offer from VM
As you could get a Android phone for £10.21 you would be better with the Sony Ericcson X8 http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/viewH...ringId=5598516

Re: Special Offer from VM
Would I lose all the credit I have on my Samsung PAYG or could it be offset against my monthly rental?

Ring up and ask as others have taken the same deal from PAYG and kept the same number, its 789 from your mobile and 10p to connect.

Re: Special Offer from VM
I rang 789 and they said I could transfer my credit. Now, decisions, decisions, if it was you would you go for the Blackberry or the Sony Ericsson?

Re: Special Offer from VM
I have the BlackBerry, don't get it, it's no good unless you're connected to WiFi as the internet speed is incredibly slow.

that aside though, i got my phone 6th april at £15.33 tarrif as opposed to £25.53 (but with the 25.53 tier incentives included) been a vm mobile customer & XL/vip50 for years, it just shows you if your a VM customer already the deals are there just got too to be quick, a 10p phone call can make all the difference.

Just got a HTC desire and it performs considerably better than my old iPhone.
