re: Sky Router & a WiFi printer

If you want advice you will need to post exactly what model the router is as otherwise it will just be guesswork.

re: Sky Router & a WiFi printer

Does the printer support WPS? If possible, I'd set a DHCP Reservation for the printers MAC address if the router supports it, as this will ensure it gets the same IP every time DHCP sends one (easier for windows )

All Sky routers have a DHCP server, just like normal routers.

My Sky router doesn't have WPS, but it's the older white Netgear. AFAIK, the Sagem doesn't have it either, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't see why you would *have* to have WPS, though, just to use a networked printer. Surely the printer can be set up to connect manually?

re: Sky Router & a WiFi printer

As Matt says, printers dont need WPS... WPS is only used for connection stands for "Wifi Protected Setup" you could just set it up manually It will be more reliable that way anyway!
