Re: Speed speed more speed
Always get full speed on Speedtest sites. Usually get up to 4.0MB/s on downloads.
Wireless in my room is like a yoyo, one minute it'll be 30MB, next it'll be 2, or 5, or 10, or whatever.

Re: Speed speed more speed
a) your ping is very good
b) has your area had the upload uplift?

Re: Speed speed more speed
Brum (Small Heath) hasn't had the uplift yet it's not supposed to be until August
I consistently get 30.5 down and 1.07 up 7ms ping on average so pretty happy overall

Re: Speed speed more speed
a long way away from my past VM performance, just gone midnight would be a spike on utilisation as shaping is disabled and still good speed.

Re: Speed speed more speed
fwiw 10mbps/"L" tier off brig16 (Cisco 1012) Brighton BN3
SamKnows YTD average = 9.71/1.01/21.8
All totally misleading/inconsistent indicator of performance when taken in isolation unless you include in context of client/server processor load, server location, max route speed, route/hops, rtt, etc , how the averages are determined, clock accuracy and myriad of other factors.
A useful as stating 10.2s 0-60 on my Suzuki Alto without gross laden weight, altitude, inclines, barometric pressure,RH,gearbox type, etc
