Super Hub Issue

Hi

Received my super hub today, i cannot get my playstation to connect to it wireless, router and ps3 below/on top of each other the router is behind my tv.

Internet has disconnected 3 times already with this new router, virgin tell me the router has a better signal than the standard net gear router but i dont see any difference when i go upstairs in my house

Im on fibre optic cable, with my old modem i was on 10mb and was getting speeds of 9.6 to 9.8

with this new router im only getting 12 - 15mb even on off peak times, is this an issue with the new router ?

also will my old router work with 30mb ? if so ill switch it back around

Re: Super Hub Issue

Switch Off Firewall Features, IP Flood Detection and Port Scan Detection.

Optimise your wireless channel selection. Get InSSider to help with this.

Set the 802.11 mode to up to 145 mbps

make sure to use WPA2-PSK[AES] security

Re: Super Hub Issue

just done a broadband speed test and getting 22mb now guessing getting that because of peak times

Re: Super Hub Issue

Unlikely, your speed variation could either be your wireless adapter or the speedtest site itself.

Mods - Please move this to the Internet section?
