The wiring to that light just won't be up to the job of running those motors, especially if you activated both at the same time! No matter what a motor is rated at, the initial "push" can often draw 10x that!
And people wonder why electrical safety standards are so stringent in the uk. Perhaps we should link this to barewolf's shed thread

i used to fit garage doors with those motors a couple of years ago and you are right the initial take off of the door takes a lot more power also because it would be working against the spring when dropping the door ,one day that cable will go up like fuse on a stick of dynamite
