v+ to surround sound

im looking for help ,i want to connect my v+ box to my technika surround sound

so i can get ss through my v+ box ,,i no its a cheap 1 but im just starting out with surround sound ,anyway my ss has 1 hdmi connection and also a opctical, my v + has the same and my tv has opctical and hdmi connection also im just comfused as to how to connect it up ,,,,i can get ss when i play a dvd but not from the v+ box ,,any help would be appreaciated

It depends on how the connections on the technika are setup. Most likely they are one way only e.g HDMI output only and optical input only. This also will apply to the TV.

on the V+ both HDMI and optical are output only.

You will need to consult the Technika manual to see if you can do what you want.

ye a had a look m8 the opctical on the ss is out as well ,,so is there a connection cable thatll go from v+ out to ss in, wich i think is like the red and white connections
