Question Network Unlock Codes for Samsung

Hi,

waiting for the code from samsung to use my sons old samsung toco lite as he now uses the VM blackberry (£10).

voda said the samsung nuk code not on their data base so they sent a request to samsung, could take up to 6 weeks !!!.

i wont to use a vm payg sim in the samsung as we could then take advantage of free vm calls etc.

has any one had experience with voda getting NUK codes( unlocking mobiles to make them sim free) especially samsung

Re: Network Unlock Codes for Samsung

Network unlock codes are charged for by the phone manufacturers and not the network providers. The handset makers all charge £10 ( except for Blackberry as they charge £15 ).
The code can normally take up to 28 days to come through and normally you need the handset to be over 12 months old as most makers will not produce a code for a handset if under 12 months.
