WRT54G2 Problem

I've got a wierd one here.

I have set up my router every night this week (resetting to factory defaults on every occasion)

My Iphone is fine for a few hours, then drops connection, connects back up with a 169 ip, drops and connects again with a 192 ip. (it constantly does this after a few inital hours of working fine) A wireless problem i was thinking.. well maybe not - read on lol

also, initally i can connect to my routers web page options - but then after returning home every night this week that web page just times out (this is on both a wired and wireless connection) However - this is where im confused, browsing on my wired laptop at the moment is fine - i just cant connect to the router :| i could last night and i have not changed anything on the network

i took the router out of the equasion last night and spent a few hours connected directly to the cable modem without any noticable problems (althought youtube was a little slower then usual)

im at a loss. would these be the signs to buy a new router? it was working fine before i moved house
