Rolling plan to contract - Wildfire?
Rang VM as on £10 rolling plan currently and want to change to £20/month HTC wildfire deal. They said if I do it all online and choose my current no. it will automatically replace my £10 deal with the contract.
Is this right? I don't have to manually cancel the £10 rolling plan? Want to make sure as foreign call centre useless as usual, took them ages to understand questions!
Also is the HTC Wildfire OK for someone wanting to only spend £20/month? Is it easy to get Apps, are there a few decent games?
I know screen res is poor compared to Desire.
Thanks for any advice

If you have not signed up for the HTC Widfire yet then I would go for the Samsung Wave for the same price.

Review of that one is here http://www.trustedreviews.com/mobile...amsung-Wave/p1
However it's got Samsung's own OS on it rather than Android so apps may be few and far between

Re: Rolling plan to contract - Wildfire?
Went with the Wildfire as only the resolution seems to be the negative in the reviews. VM did cancel rolling and set up new contract all online. Phone due tomorrow.
Thanks for all of the advice, I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: Rolling plan to contract - Wildfire?
I have had a Wildfire for a couple of weeks now as part of a half price second contract deal from Vodafone, considering switching the sims over, it's a much nicer mobile than the HD Mini, although both have their positives and negatives, just be nice to get the 2.2 upgrade through

Re: Rolling plan to contract - Wildfire?
I was impressed with the performance increase (in some areas) when I put 2.2 on my Desire.
The thing I use the most, however, is the hot spot software

Re: Rolling plan to contract - Wildfire?
i suppose, just sometimes my desire seems to struggle but i think as the software develops it will only get better, the wildfire it certainly by far the best budget smart phone at the minuteand is likely to stay there for some time

Re: Rolling plan to contract - Wildfire?
Very impressed so far, delivered 9am so had all day to play with. I reckon as only had rubbish PAYG £20 phones before the screen still looks excellent to me! I appreciate the Desire and Iphone screens must be something else.
