TWO Belkin Routers - Connection to Router Dropping every 24 hours

Hello there;

A newbie hoping for some friendly help!

I am on the Virgin Media 50mb broadband. We've had problems like this in the past and cloning my MAC address into the router has normally solved it.

I have a Belkin N Vision router and every 24 hours, it is showing that it has lost the internet connection. Belkin are now replacing it with a new router. However, I decided to get our spare Belkin N router out of the loft and low and behold, thats losing the internet connection every 24 hours too (Orange flashing internet icon).

Two technicians from VM have been out, one replaced the router.

I am convinced this is a VM issue - how can two routers be faulty?

Am I missing something? Is there a setting I need to sort in my router?

Any help, much appreciated

Gary
