What's up with Gmail?

I've just had to verify my Gmail account, for the second time since I got it; apparently, "suspicious activity" has been detected.

Excuse me? I set a strong password initially, and there is one and only one person on the entire planet who knows it. In fact, apart from people to whom I've sent email with it, there's no-one on the planet who even knows I have the damn thing.

Has anyone else had this issue come up recently?

Re: What's up with Gmail?

As it happens I have had just this (again) today.

I assumed it was because my account was sending out dodgy emails a couple of weeks back.

At that time I got my account suspended which was exactly right, I changed the password to a really strong one and all seemed ok.

Now it has just locked me out again earlier on.

I assumed something dodgy had happened again but all seemed ok when I got back in.

Re: What's up with Gmail?

Someone at work reported the same problem earlier, I know at the bottom of the page you can find out what IP address you logged in with for the past number of logons.
