xbox wireless vs dynamode router

hi
my son bought a wireless N adapter yesterday for his xbox, after struggling to get the cd working it now connects to the dynamode br-6004 w-g1 router we have, this router has a laptop(wireless) and sometimes an itouch connected to it with no problems, however the xbox, despite connecting to it does not get an ip address assigned to it (the router is set to dhcp).
i have the latest firmware for this router the signal strength seems to be strong enough also. i tried using mac filtering to see if that helped but nothing, when i go the the webpage for the router it clealy shows via the association table that it is connected.
ive tried the option to use a stitc ip address but xbox complains the router doesnt like it(despite changing those settings on the router itself)i just wonder if anyone else has had problems with the dynamode and have solved it

any help would be appreciated

Re: xbox wireless vs dynamode router

ok it seems i figured it out, it was the xbox all the time, my son had set it up for PPPoE with a username etc so i cleared those settings(not sure what would happen) and i was automaticly assigned an IP
