Dead in PE27

My broadband has been down since last night in PE27. Virgin twitter told me they have found a fault and are working on it. Yet not only has it not been fixed it isn't on the status page and support in India were yet again useless.

Thought things had improved slightly there!

Here too, i am in PE27 and have been off sice 8pm last night. I have jusst spoken to technical support and they booked me an engineer as they thought it was a faulty modem, but sods law 10 mins later and after exactly 24 hours without connection it is back up again. How can no-one at virgin media support know of a fault in the area, and not even have it on their status page, even after 24 hours of outage !!! Now i gotta phone up and cancel the engineer !!
