LD:40 error message

Just got in from work and my box was playing up trying to access on demand stuff. Did the usual... take the power out for 5mins, plug it back in... and now the box (sammy 2110c) is stuck on LD:40

I will ring VM tomorrow morning to book a techy, but thought I might try here first just in case anyone has a potential fix.

and while were on tv problems.. i used to be able to access the entire on-demand catalouge at my old place... now it says i have to subscribe.. (were talking this time last year i could access this stuff) any suggestions.. lol

Re: LD:40 error message

I too was plagued by LD:40, a couple of new boxes later and reading someones comments about bad signal I had a scout round the PC desk. Hey presto !!! a frayed cable caught around one of the legs. Cut off the affected cable, about 2 metres , attached an F connector from Maplin and job done it's been fine ever since.Virgin's techies think replacing the box will cure everything lol d:o)
