Problems sending email from Virgin mobile phone

Hi everyone,

I'm a new user with Virgin, but have been happily sending and receiving emails via my phone for the last couple of weeks. However I can now only intermittently receive, and cannot send at all - it connects to the 3G network and then flashes up 'sending' but then disconnects immediately and the email is left in the outbox.

My email is through Virgin (ex-Blueyonder) so I'm using pop3.blueyonder.co.uk as the incoming server and smtp.blueyonder.co.uk as the outgoing server, and as I say it all was working fine until today. Does anyone know if there is a problem with data, or the email systems (nothing on VM service status pages), or should I not be using these settings at all? I've seen various posts saying you must be on the blueyonder network to use their servers, but as I say, had no problems until today, and had no problems using them across Three's network until I moved across to Virgin.

Many thanks
