we went down the wifi route last week and have an issue i would like help with.our laptop,wifi mobile and ipod touch work fine wirelessly.however,my eldest son has an archos 705 mp4 player and it will not recognise wifi.it gives a list of people in nearby streets who are enabled,but not ours here in the house?is it possible it does not work with wifi via cabled broadband?

Check the type of encryption being used on your wireless setup is compatible with the wireless encryption the Archos can use. i.e. WEP, WPA and so on.
