According to this I should be able to use php http://www.virginmedia.com/customers...space-help.php

as my email address ends with blueyonder.co.uk

I think that was old onformation...but the way vm is still fragmented you never know...

Try doing a simple php info test file and see if it gives you any php information (if it's working) or just the text of the code.(if it's not)
