New Virgin Media Customer Query.

I got VirginMedia installed on Monday.

TV, Broadband and Phone...

the only thing i have had off them so far is a contract to sign and details for eBilling.

how long is before they normally send through the 1st bill ?

and how do you get a virgin e-mail address to access account setting etc

i tried http://activate.virginmedia.com to activate my account but it says to phone them to register my modem which i did and they stated everything was setup ok...

Thanks,

Paul

The first bill comes through after the first month

The engineer will have activated all your services when he visited so there's nothing left for you to do.

To setup email addresses etc. then you need to login to Selfcare: http://www.virginmedia.com/customers/ and click "My internet account".

Re: New Virgin Media Customer Query.

Thanks for the reply

The problem is i don't have a e-mail address with virgin to use to login. (looks like you need a virginmedia.com or virgin.net address)

The eBilling they set up was using my old e-mail address...

Thanks,

Paul

Re: New Virgin Media Customer Query.

Did the engineer leave you a username or was it on any documents? as that will be the first part of your email address.

Re: New Virgin Media Customer Query.

its http://activation.virginmedia.com - not activate!

If that won't set up your e-mail then Broadband Techical Support will

Oh and the first bill can take a month to arrive - and cover the first two months of service

Best to call in unless you like watching your screen go round in a loop, or waiting for the screen that eventually tells you to call in.
