Question down grading from vm tv phone bb package

Hi

My partner has recently cancelled the vm subscription as he is moving to a different service.

The existing installation is located in the lounge (tv box)and wireless routed round the house.

I have been told that to keep the broadband bit a pc would be needed to be located at the cable installation point and be connected directly into the pc.

I am thinking that what is possible, is to connect a new modem to the cable installation in the lounge, connect the modem to the wireless router and this would then feed to the 3 pcs. (None of which are any where near the modem location.)

Is this correct?

Greatful for your advice.

Driving your LAN entirely wireless should work, but when there's a problem, they generally want you to connect a PC directly.

Virgin are quite happy with Wireless connections. They just won't support a router they haven't supplied

As for connecting it, you can connect a cable modem to any of the TV points as they used the same cables.
