Kitchen Base Unit
Morning all
Having a slight problem/challenge for today !!!!!
I have a kichen base unit and two of the draws have missing runners (49cms). So I thought it may be easier to 'simply' replace the whole thing !
Problem is I can not find a white base unit either 4 / 3 draw measuring 86cm (h) 40cms (w) and 56cms (d)
Any ideas apart from burning the lot and starting again.
Many thanks
Mike

Re: Kitchen Base Unit AAAHHHH ????
wouldn't it be cheaper to just replace the runners? :/

Re: Kitchen Base Unit AAAHHHH ????
What sort of runners are they?
If you could post a pic I may be able to help you out as there are a lot of different types runner.
We have various runner sets spare at work from expensive quadro soft close with clip on mounting to std cheap base mounted and all in between.
If we have them spare you can have them for gratis, all it will cost you is postage.

Many thanks for all the replies and suggestions........
Here are some pictures of the unit and runners. It is the runners attached to the draws which are missing (runners 46cms long)
Really appreciate the help.
Kind regards
Mike

Re: Kitchen Base Unit AAAHHHH ????
Have you tried Screwfix HERE
I have never seen that type before and it may be easier retro fitting another type.

Hi Mike.
They look like they are a standard base mount runner with the unit runner packed out by 20mm or so.
I can sort you out 2 pr of std base mount runners (or more) but you will have to pack them out yourself (fix a batten to the unit side and then the runner) as the ones we use fit flush to the carcase I can help with instructions if needed.
Cant guarantee the colour, brown or white whatever we got spare.
If your interested PM me your details and I'll get em in the post Wed.
Al
EDIT
Looking at the screfix site posted by whydoineedatech the ones I can get are the
Bottom Fix Drawer Runners 450mm

Re: Kitchen Base Unit AAAHHHH ????
Of course, there's always:
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/
They have *loads* of bits and pieces. Usefully, you can buy most parts separately but it might take a bit of searching. The kitchen cabinets are in the 'Faktum' range and the fittings are called 'Rationell':
