No Wireless Connection When PS3 Online?

Hiyya, dont know wether anybody else is having this issue but when im playing online on my PS3 (physically connected to my netgear router) i cannot find my network wirelessly on my laptop. I turn off the PS3 and my laptop immediately connects? I have VM 10mb BB. Any ideas?

Which router is it? if you got it from VM or TW what colour and how old is it.

white netgear box wgr614, with a black virgin media modem (issued it last week).

OK, not what I thought it might be then, you could try resetting it and trying the setup again.

It problerly that the router isn't broadcasting its SSID.

login to the routher and enable it while you you set up the PC3.

Or its something to do with an IP confict
