sound cards
my motherboard is a asus striker II extreme 790i ultra and basically it has a daughter card for the sound but it just isn't loud enough.
i also have a creative x-fi fidelity card but that is loud enough but it doesn't work properly, the sound cuts out and when playing games it crackles like mad.
basically i want to know is it possible to increase the volume of the sound outputted by my current card, with out going through speakers just using my fidelity headset?

Re: sound cards
cheers zing think i might get a x-fi gamer on saturday when i take a faulty psu back to aria as they are a low, profile card so will fit under the water pipe going from 1st graphics card to the 2nd, thought there might have been a software option but not a problem cheers anyway mate.
