Question do I have the 50mb service?

My download speed from giganews maxes out at 7.44mB/s (see attached jpg) which if I translate to megabits equals 60mb!? Am I missing something here?? I'm in the Camden area which, from what I read in the past, isn't one of the 50mb trial areas.

Cheers!

Re: do I have the 50mb service?

According to that it's 7millibytes per second...now that is weird!!!

Kymmy

PS..without a new modem you won't get 50Mb as the 50Mb trial is on Docsis3

Ok how large was the whole download, and how long did it take to download? If you can supply both those details we can work out roughly the real speed that you downloaded at.

No it doesn't? From the features "Backward compatible with existing EuroDOCSIS 1.1 and 1.0 networks".

I don't use Newsbin pro but isn't that just showing how much he's downloaded on that particular part? The top column says size and not speed.
