20Mb Upgrade - New Modem?

We've just upgrade to th VIP package, currently we have an old Ambit 120 (NTL Home) modem. I think we will need a replacement, can anyone confirm this and if so what's the easiest way to do this CS, Technical support or support news group.

When we upgraded the CS guy said to wait until the upgrade goes thriughand then check the spped.

Thanks

JJ

Re: 20Mb Upgrade - New Modem?

Im pretty confident you will need an upgrade. My mate had the 120 and couldn't get more than 4mb, i got him to call CS and the new modem gave him 19mb!

Yes with the Ambit 120 you need to call for an upgrade. I got mine change by calling CS on 150 and they had an engineer out the next day with a new modem.
