Router help

Im on the 20mb service but only get 60kb download speed from easy news news server.
I have been through their help pages and the slow speeds point to my router.
It a D-Link gamers lounge router.

My question is how do i increase my speed through the router?

I don't know about your router but are you using the European server? I get much better speeds with less connections than the US one.

It does not look like its my router as i have bypassed it and still get the same speeds.

Mick how do i connect to the euro servers im new to easy news

For NNTP you can use

secure.news.eu.easynews.com

Don't forget with easynews you can use as many connections as it takes to max your throughput. Depending on the time of day 600k to 1.5meg per connection is about the best you can hope for when downloading from the US server farm. Speeds should be better from the Euro server farm situated in Amsterdam.
