Dropped Connection Nightmare

Can someone please help.
I have a Belkin G+ Mimo wireless router connected to my virgin modem. I have a PC connected to the router via ethernet cable and am trying to use a company laptop wirelessly. The problem is that the laptop will only hold an internet connection (either wireless or ethernet) when the cable router is rebooted. If I disconnect from the wireless or unplug the ethernet cable then reconnect, the laptop aquires a network address OK and says its connected but within seconds drops the connection. Connection and dropping then carrys on endlessly.

In contrast the PC can be disconnected and reconnected from the wireless router without any problem. Finally, if I connect the laptop directly to the cable modem there is no problem even if I disconnect then reconnect.

I think the problem lays with the set up of the laptop, probably because its a company machine.

Possibly but lots have reported problems of one sort or another with Belkin Routers. Are you running the latest firmware? Any Belkin Forums you can access?

Re: Dropped Connection Nightmare

the router is only three weeks. I have been in touch with Belkin support and they also confirmed that the firmware was up to date.

Whats confusing me is that the desktop works OK with the belkin router while the laptop doesnt, yet the laptopo works fine if connected direct to the modem.
