Re: How bad can it get? 20MB to this...?

For me, this pathetic speed comes on from 6pm to 11pm, and week ends, (I do not do any downloading), so there is nothing wrong with the equipment. Someone at VM flicks a switch to slow us all down for god knows what reason, and its been like that for the last 3 weeks and for a lot of people.

If all the heavy users are being shaped after 4pm, i would also like to know why its so crap between approx 5pm to about midnight for everyone else?
Checked with a few users i know around my area so i know its not just me.

Re: How bad can it get? 20MB to this...?

Upstream: Around 40, nothing higher than 48
Downstream: -15 to +15, but generally virgins limits are tighter

Your SNR should be higher than 30 too.

UPDATE:

Yours look OK so far, whats you upstream?
